  Managed decision process that qualified new prime contractor as being ready for production in multi-year, multi-million dollar production and engineering support contracts
  Directed effort to open the AN/SQQ-89 (V) Surface Ship ASW Combat Systempoint-to-point architecture. This included programmatic planning for COTS insertion to introduce fiber optic data, acoustic, and display local area networks.
  Responsible for the day-to-day management and direction for contracts with a total value in excess of $3B.
  Provided direct interface between the Program Office, the Resource Sponsors in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations and the Aegis Ship Building Program Office 

Director, Production and Installation 

Directed the production, post-production integration testing, and deliver of functional combat systems from the prime contractor to the installing activities. Identified and eliminated redundant testing, saving over $2.5M per year 
  Managed the procurement, testing, and deliver of Government Furnished Equipment required by the prime contractor for complete system integration prior to delivery 
  Resolved questions arising from errors or ambiguity in data/drawing packages from which system were being built. 
  Demonstrated that vibration testing specifications greatly exceeded requirements obviating system redesign and bacfit costs
